Positively Holly by Pepper Anthony
When Holly and Evan run into each other at the Toy Palace the week before Christmas, the last thing on their minds is rekindling their failed love affair. After all, Holly is one of those wide-eyed optimists, and Evan is a man who deals in practicalities. Things would never work out between them. But two cups of coffee, a pair of shopping bags, and a touch of sexy Christmas magic just might help them find their common ground.

Hometown Miracles by Patricia Bates
The holidays hold little interest for Leanne Wilson, a single mother who receives devastating news mere days before heading home. Once she arrives, she runs into the one man who holds her heart. But she can’t reach out to him now…after all, this may be her very last Christmas. Jay Locke has loved Leanne for years. When she left town, he forced himself to move on, but now she's back with a darling little girl and a Christmas wish he just can't say no to.

Believe in Me by Aimée Duffy
Leona Sharp and Ryan Lee have been friends forever, it seems. Although there's an attraction between them, they've never acted on it. On New Year's Eve, Leona finally allows herself to give into the temptation, but she vows that it will only be for one night and as soon as the clock strikes midnight they will put it in the past and go on as if it never happened. Ryan, however, has other plans…

His Holiday Lifesaver by Hazel Gower
Brad isn't looking forward to Christmas dinner with his family as they are always trying to set him up with women. This year he has a plan involving Hailey, a female tourist he rescued at the beach, posing as his girlfriend for the next couple of weeks. The only problem with the plan is he didn't expect to fall in love with her.

Drawn To You by Tara Mills
If a picture's worth a thousand words, what does that make a series of sketches? Drawn to the same beach over and over again to secretly sketch this quiet, contemplative man, Rachel is about to find out.

Reunion by Ashlynn Monroe
Years ago, Shayla left her small hometown to pursue her dream. When she did, her family turned their back on her. Leaving also meant she had to forget about the boy she loved. When her mother dies, Shayla realizes that while some things change, other things are doomed to remain the same. She returns home, but doesn't feel very welcome until the boy who haunts her memories steps into her present. Luc is no longer the farm boy she'd fallen for—he's grown up, and quite nicely too. Can Shayla rekindle what she lost with the man she never stopped loving?

Winter Break by Kaylie Newell
Harper Smith is a horrible skier. She can't stand it, almost as much as she can't stand her irritatingly sexy ex-boyfriend, who also happens to be a member of the ski patrol. So when she finds herself in a life-or-death situation on a cold, dark mountain, she has mixed feelings when Justin Noble shows up to rescue her. Part of her would rather freeze to death than accept his help. The other part can't help but warm up at the sight of his messy, sun-bleached hair and cocky grin. Without her consent, Harper's heart tips dangerously close to falling for him again. But will this time be any different?

Mistletoe & Holly by Tamaria Soana
Zoey is going through the normal Christmas Eve ritual with her three-year-old twins. The only difference is that her husband Preston isn't there to share it with them. He's been deployed overseas and won't be home for the holidays. After Zoey tucks the kids in for the night, she places the gifts under the tree, snuggles on the sofa to watch It's a Wonderful Life, and falls asleep. She's startled awake by a loud noise. Is she dreaming, or is her Christmas wish standing under the mistletoe?

Katrina's Christmas by Sidda Lee Tate
Christmas has always been just another day to Katrina Bryant. She works hard and expects her employees to do the same. When her sexy assistant, Grant Ward, quits on Christmas Eve she becomes worried she will never see him again, and she wonders why that bothers her so much. To her surprise, he arrives at her home hours later and whisks her away for a Christmas she will never forget.

Merry Christmas, Mrs. Todd by Elise Whyles
Recently widowed, Mary Todd isn't looking forward to spending Christmas alone. She's determined to keep a low profile during the madness—that is, until she meets her sexy neighbor, Walter. He seems intent on helping her get into the holiday spirit, and she just might let him.

The Gift Beneath the Tree by Lacey Wolfe
Tara won't be spending Christmas with her family this year, but she's not entirely alone. Her roommate, Brad, who's currently single, is also at home with her. Tara goes to bed Christmas Eve with hopes Santa might bring her what she most desires. After hearing a loud crash, she goes to investigate, and underneath the tree, she finds the present she's been dying to unwrap.

A Time to Give Thanks

For those of us in the United States, this week we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving, where we take time to give thanks for all the good things in our lives (and eat lots of food, and for one day we don't worry about how many calories those foods contain).

This year I'm very thankful for the growth and success of our company. I'm thankful for our wonderful authors, who write such great stories. And I'm thankful for our staff—the editors, the cover artists, etc—who work so hard on preparing those stories for publication. But I'm most thankful for you—our readers—because without you, Beachwalk Press wouldn't exist.

I've asked some of our authors to share what they're thankful for this year…

M. A. Stacie: I'm thankful for my hubby and three amazing boys. And my life would be boring without my magnificent friends.

Tamaria Soana: I'm thankful for family and friends!

Ashlynn Monroe: I'm thankful for my family, my friends, and the fact that I'm able to do something I love (writing). There's no better feeling than knowing the thing that makes me happy gives someone else an escape from their everyday worries.

Sidda Lee Tate: I'm thankful for the wonderful support I receive from my family.

Kaylie Newell: This season, I'm thankful for so many things. Family, wonderful friends, our health. I'm also thankful for my brand new writing career—something I've dreamed of since I was knee high to a grasshopper :) I'm thankful for my publisher and amazing editor. And I'm especially thankful for new readers who decided to take a chance and pick up a book by an unknown author this year. Not just my books, but all of my fellow new authors' stories. What a gift that is, and one I'm incredibly lucky to have.

Ella Jade: I have a lot to be thankful for this year. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful, happy, and healthy children. My boys are my world, and I'm grateful to share my life with them. I'm also appreciative of the readers and friends I've picked up this year through my writing. My stories have always been a hobby. I've been getting lost in my plots and characters for years, but to finally be able to share my creations with all of you as an author is a dream come true. Thank you for taking this journey with me. I wish all of you a happy and blessed Thanksgiving Day.

Pepper Anthony: This year, I am particularly appreciative of my excellent health. Last year I was diagnosed with uterine cancer. I went through surgery, five months of chemo, and some icky radiation treatments. While I did very well with most of the treatments, I did develop what is known as "chemo brain". My thought processes got foggy and my creative flow just kind of dried up. As an artist and writer, that was just about the most distressing part of the whole thing. I was afraid that I might be among the 40% of cancer patients who do not recover their full cognitive abilities following chemo. Happily, that has not been the case. Not only did my recent CT scans show "no evidence of disease", but my mind has fully recovered too. The human body is an amazing, resilient hunk of stuff. This Thanksgiving, celebrate your good health along with me!

Lacey Wolfe: What I'm thankful for has been on my mind a lot lately. And the one thing I keep coming back to is my husband. When we found out I was pregnant with my son (who is now 8), he agreed to let me stay home and raise our children. Both my children are now in school and instead of telling me to go get a job that brings in a steady paycheck, he still lets me stay home and write all day. He never says anything if the house is a mess or the laundry is washed but in dire need of being folded. He listens to me complain as well as gets excited about my accomplishments. I've been with my husband for 11 & 1/2 years and I couldn't imagine spending my life with anyone else.

Mary Wehr: Although I'm thankful for my good health and having a loving, thoughtful husband by my side for the past thirty-three years, this Thanksgiving is going to be very, very special. Beachwalk Press came into my life and my life-long dream of becoming a published author has come true. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Patricia Bates: Gosh, there's so many things I'm thankful for. My family—including my wonderful son. He's the biggest miracle in my life and a constant source of inspiration and joy. My writing—the ability to share some of my creativity with others. And the fact that I have amazing publishers. I've been truly blessed to have so many wonderful contacts in this industry and I'm extremely thankful for the chances I have.

Stephanie Beck: 2012 brought lots of challenges, but I'm more thankful than ever. This year, I'm especially grateful for:
* My nephew Noah–born five weeks early, but doing great and safe at home with his mama and daddy who love him
* Nine years with my wonderful husband
* My three beautiful, healthy, loving children
* An exciting year of writing–and ambition to make next year even better
* My home with space for my kiddos to grow
* My church family who welcome us every day and share their joys
Happy Thanksgiving!

Tabitha Rayne: I am thankful for the creativity of human beings—seeing or experiencing something that someone has made inspires, sustains, and moves me. I am even more thankful that they share it. I'm thankful for most everything—love, health, joy, and even for the hard times as they make the good times more precious. But most of all, I'm thankful for fizzy astro belts (a very special candy) and good coffee.

Tara Mills: I love Thanksgiving. That’s when my three boys come home for a visit. My husband makes the turkey (a buttery champagne basted, croissant stuffed bird to die for), and I have an excuse to pop the first cork early and make mimosas for breakfast too. We crank the tunes and dance around as soon as there are signs of life from the bedrooms. After two pots of coffee are polished off, someone will suggest playing a game; it could be darts, ping pong, or a lively board game. Later, we'll take a hike through the woods with the three dogs. This year we'll have our new grandson coming up too. He's just four months old now. There's always time for lounging in the living room with your nose in a book or your Nook. We're a family of readers. Or my daughter-in-law will start a crossword puzzle and call out to everyone for help. Finishing becomes a group effort. But our boys have to earn their delicious dinner, and the alcohol that follows, by splitting and stacking firewood first. I love their ruddy cheeks when they come back inside, carrying the fresh clean smell of autumn with them.

And now, we want to know what YOU are thankful for. Everyone who leaves a comment will have their name placed in a drawing. On November 30th we will randomly draw four names, and those people will win a Beachwalk Press eBook of their choice. So don’t be shy—tell us what you’re thankful for!

Can Macy and Jerrod overcome the differences in their age and race to find lasting love?

On Macy Wilson's first grown-up adventure to the big city, she inadvertently ends up in jail. Her father hires an old college friend, defense attorney Jerrod Preston, to get Macy out of trouble. Jerrod is more than willing to help out his buddy by representing the gorgeous young black woman, but finds he must first battle his intense attraction to her, especially when the judge puts Macy under his protective custody.

Still an innocent at the age of nineteen, Macy ignores the differences in their age and race and sees the opportunity to learn all about sex from the handsome older man. On her second night in his home, a naked midnight rendezvous at the hot tub proves too powerful for either to resist, and Macy is awakened to pleasure like nothing she could have imagined.

But the morning brings feelings of remorse on both their parts. Macy knows her father wouldn't approve, and Jerrod is convinced Macy should be with someone closer to her own age. They settle into an uneasy platonic relationship, both secretly longing for the love that now seems just beyond their grasp.

Then an unforeseen circumstance raises the stakes, and Macy must make the toughest decision of her life. When she lays claim to the man she can't forget, will Jerrod send her away, or dare to open his heart to love once more?

Author Spotlight – Pepper Anthony

1) How long have you been writing for the purpose of publication?
About a year

2) What’s the shortest and/or longest amount of time it’s ever taken you to complete a book?
My novellas take about six weeks to write.

3) What is your writing schedule like?
Intermittent. I also work full time in our family business.

4) Is there a certain time of the day that you tend to be more creative?
I am definitely an early bird.

5) Where is your favorite place to write?
I have a cozy studio in a small bedroom upstairs where I can see out to the trees and fields surrounding our home.

6) What type of environment do you prefer when you write? (ie complete silence, background music, etc)
I like soft “new age” music in the background. Nothing with lyrics or a strong rhythm. I have a burbling water fountain going, and I like to burn incense too. Always a cat or two draped nearby and my dog at my feet.

7) Are you plotter or a panser?
I pretty much write by the seat of my pants. Plotting takes all the fun out of it for me.

8 ) What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?
I learned that I don’t have to have the perfect environment. I can write amid chaos in fits and starts if I have to.

9) What is the most difficult or challenging thing for you as a writer?
Writing the synopsis.

10) What advice would you give to a new writer?
Don’t give up. Keep reading and learning. Find great critique partners.

Powerful characters readers can identify with and a believable conflict we want to see them overcome.

12) What are you reading at the moment?
Lacey Wolfe’s Amber’s Muse

13) What do you do to relax?
Read and draw.

14) What’s your favorite way to procrastinate?
Definitely television. I love old movies.

15) Chocolate or vanilla, coffee or tea, Coke or Pepsi, dogs or cats, sunrises or sunsets?
Chocolate, coffee, spring water, cats, sunrises.

16) Are you a collector of anything?
Rocks. My favorites are smooth brown river rocks. I have them everywhere in my house and I even sleep with them. I think they ground me.

17) If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I would like to be able to manipulate time.

18) If you could be any animal, what would you be?
A sleek, wise farm cat

19) Give us some links where we can find you, please.
